Design goal—to integrate methodologies and practices of surface mapping, image tracking, and computer vision to use as my tools for experimentation.
Body Planes is a technology research project on body tracking technologies and tools. It was a process of discovery to understand what the body is and can be.

PROTOTYPE 6—defining the design elements that describe the body plane as an object that can be worn and adjusted to variably accommodate any unique body measurements—not constrained to a body type.

Next set of prototypes were designed with five functions: loop, loop ends, window, window frame, and tunnels.
prototypes : new body planes—exploring where they are placed on the body.

prototypes : GUI navigation—relating the body to an interface and the plane to an interactive device.

final prototypes—seven specimens chosen to continue exploring what a body plane can be with each labeled based on the body part they represent.
